Crazy Liberals
Liberals are crazy people who believe we should be getting money from Santa Claus to pay for entitlement programs.

Rehab Bartender Song
Just another breakup song, with humor, romance, destruction, jail, the smells of defeat and the nasty tastes left in your mouth from the unfamiliar smoke and booze flavor that burns. The memories of love burn your mind. No, I am not bitter. To quote Bob Dylan, “I am delightful.”
Lennon: Serve Yourself
Lennon wrote this as answer song to Bob Dylan’s “Gotta Serve Yourself.”
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Nothing but respect for you, so let me apologize in advance if this sounds harsh. If you want to kick my ass, then I have done my job
You are a great pitcher, but let’s face it the “surge” is hype. We are still in Iraq and will be for years. Bush and his people get richer off of “defense” contracts, and the economy is falling apart. If Gore or Obama had been the leader on Sept 12th, I doubt that they would have walking into the same traps. On top of that, the American people have been scared into the “patriot act” which is about the least patriotic act you could come up with.
If we as Americans give up our freedom in an attempt to defeat terrorism, that it is we who have made the greatest sacrifice, a sacrifice that would have Jefferson, Lincoln and Kennedy rolling over in their graves. Terrorism only works on fear, and for such a fearless athlete, your post reflects a man who is very scared and little.

Reunions
I am planning a show with an all-star band in NYC for Oct 17th. Bernard “Pretty” Purdie will be on drums, and my rock star friend, Sally Boyden (Dandy Warhols, Duran, Stones), plans to be there as well. We met when we were both 15. She already had hit records in OZ, and I was captivated by her music, watching her practice for hours, trying to sit-in.
I know Purdie through Jerry Jemmott. I met Jerry when I was 15 or so, and when it was time to do a show Jerry brought Pretty Purdie. We played The Bitter End with my band, Dr Dan’s Music Show in the summer of 1988 to a packed house. I know I saw Spin Doctors, Blues Travelers, and Phoebe Snow there. I think Phoebe Snow hated it, but it was an amazing night. Richie Cannata, Billy Joel’s sax player in the hey day, jammed his ass off that night. Richie and Sally and my Dad worked on a project with Elliot Scheiner, Grammy Award-Winning Producer & Engineer, and I wrangled my way in as a non-credited songwriter.
I try to keep that tradition alive today where I do the work, and get no fair pay or credit (grin)
